Vantage Point
Movie synopsis:
Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) are Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Ashton (William Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror. When President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Spain, chaos ensues.
In the crowd is Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), an American tourist video taping the historic event to show his kids when he returns home. There is also Rex (Sigourney Weaver) an American TV news producer who is reporting on the conference. It's only as we follow each person's perspective of the same 15 minutes prior to and immediately after the shooting that the terrifying truth behind the assassination attempt is revealed. |  |

This was a great movie.
Initially, I wasn't going to see it because I wanted to see Run Fatboy Run, but we flipped a coin and Vantage Point won.
The whole different perspectives thing is actually done very well in this film, it doesn't get too annoying, and it isn't overdone.
Without spoiling too much about the film, the ending is amazing. I might have only found it amazing because of the sheer amount of intense action and flipping vehicles, but hey. It was great.
This film is definitely worth going to see. The story is hard to predict and you will frequently be saying stuff like "DID YOU SEE THAT?!" to your friends.

Vantage Point is a movie that basically melds about 4 different plotlines together into one massive movie, the storyline of the president being shot is made more epic by the eight different points of view that are portrayed to the viewer. The construction of the movie is unique, showing each point of view of the event in succession so that viewers get to see exactly how each person saw the events unfold.
All in all, a good movie worthy of a watch if your looking to see a good action flick.
