Joining the AFL in 1991 as the games first side from South Australia and nicknamed the Crows, Adelaide has been a successful story of the competition both on and off the field. A first finals appearance followed in 1993, before the glory days of back to back premierships in 1997-1998. Nicknamed the Crows after the famous Croweaters South Australian footy term there is no club with a bigger membership base in the AFL as in recent seasons they were first club in history to sign up 50,000 members. |
