The most recent new addition to the AFL, port Adelaide were the second team from South Australia to be admitted to the competition, joining the league in 1997 and have enjoyed success ever since. Nicknamed the Power, the club has been one of the most consistent sides over the last decade, first playing finals in 199 before further finals appearance every year between 2001 and 2005 including an historic first Grand Final and premiership in 2004 defeating the Brisbane Lions. With new exciting talent the future is good for the Power. |
