So it's January 1, TWENTY-TEN.
And you best believe it's pronounced twenty-ten.
How futuristic and awesome does that sound?
Actually when you think about it, it's really not. It's even more traditional than saying 'two thousand and ten'.
OBSERVE:
Pronounce for me the year, 1925.
YOU SAID NINETEEN TWENTY FIVE DIDN'T YOU? Indeed, for the last FOREVER, years have been pronounced in blocks of ten. It's only for the millennium people started saying 'thousand'.
Something to think about!
So I did the traditional thing and went to Laura's house for New Year's Eve. Emma, John, Courtney and some others came throughout the night. We chilled bulk, ate some pizza, watched movies and then the weaker ones left and Emma, Laura and I ended up watching South Park, Family guy and The Simpsons until about 6 or 7AM. Then I passed out in her spare bed.
Then I got up and we watched some random crap on TV, then Zoolander. Then I went home.
